Storyteller Children’s Center received $4,000 and was represented by Adrienne De Guevera. The program works with preschoolers and toddlers providing breakfast, lunch and a snack to families in need. Children in the program go on to be better prepared when they start school. The program provides meals and spends educational time with the children specifically targeting “food insecure” children.

More than 50 children served by Storyteller Children’s Center were surprised Wednesday morning when snow flurries fell on both campuses, 2115 State St. and 2121 De La Vina St.
To meet these challenges, Storyteller, which enrolls 52 children at two preschool locations in Santa Barbara, applies a three-pronged approach bringing together the teachers, the parents/guardians, and their children.
