Storyteller Children’s Center is a therapeutic preschool providing high-quality early childhood education for children facing adverse challenges in Santa Barbara County and comprehensive support services for their families.

Our Families

  • We support Santa Barbara County’s underserved preschool-age children and their families.
  • Many families are facing adverse challenges including housing insecurity, which can negatively impact child development. We connect them to resources.
  • Many families fall below the federal and state poverty guidelines.
  • An estimated two-thirds of our children live in single-parent homes.
