Founded in 1988, Storyteller is dedicated to our mission of helping to ensure all families, no matter their economic status or life circumstances, have access to the resources they need to build a healthy and happy future for their children.
Operating beyond traditional, non-therapeutic preschools, Storyteller is geared toward each child’s challenges and strengths with the goal of Kindergarten Readiness. This holistic approach is essential for developing the resiliency and resources needed to recover from trauma and manage the difficult circumstances of daily living, in addition to offering a developmentally appropriate curriculum at all levels.
Today, Storyteller operates two centers providing high-quality early childhood education, nutritious meals, behavioral health services, and a safe space for an estimated 85 children per year, ranging in age from 18 months to 5 years.
